I originally wore a different skirt this morning to work. However, it was a split skirt, which wouldn't work for me being the host for a Christmas party at my house. I needed to be as comfortable as possible. Therefore, the need of having to watch the skirt every time I sit down or stand up would be a nightmare. Of course, I had to dress up for the party. Midi length, floral print and full skirt are always my top choice. I got this dress a while back, and don't wear it as much because I got it during the last week of the summer. As I wore this feminie skirt, I paired it with a pearl headband and a black crystal necklace. This white sweater from Forever 21 was so soft and looked much more expensive than its $13 price tag. The purpose of wearing black heels was to match with black necklace. White, nude or purple shoes would also make a statement on the outfit. Please excuse my bare face without any make up :) As promised, I was going to share what I wore to work this morning. I bought this skirt from Zara when I went to Florida. It was 50% off and I fell in love with buckle belted style and midi length. It looked stylish but yet professional. 1) Neutral color - soft caramel 2) Unique buckles 3) Looked great with a caramel coat. I did sew the split line in to feel more comfortable when I walk but still did not want to wear it when I needed to run around. Last but not least, please excuse my messy room in the background :) |
